New video explains fibroids to patients
A new full-length educational video on fibroid tumors is available for your patients at ReproductiveFacts.org (http://reproductivefacts.org/Fibroid_tumor_video/).
Developed by the ASRM under the direction of the Patient Education Committee, the 25-minute video teaches patients about the types of uterine fibroid tumors, symptoms (including infertility), diagnostic procedures, and medical and surgical treatment options. Instructional slides that contain clear clinical explanations, diagrams, and photographs are engagingly blended with video that follows a patient and her clinician through the diagnostic and treatment process.
